A Journal of a Journey – Some Notes about YOUR Journey

Anyone can keep a journal, but for what purpose? If it is your memoirs that you are so impressed with, that you think you could sell your rambling narrative in a book, you are not the first to believe that. . .but the actual reasons that you feel you must write, don’t have to do with readers. The complexities of Life’s questions, find their way onto the page in the deepest, soul-searching moments. It is not only the Answers to Life’s Questions that we seek. It is the questions themselves. In the present tense, the feeling and emotions of turbulent thoughts are far more poignant, laden with our response to the experience. It is the time to write: The Pain, The Hurt, The Joy, The Elation, The Guilt, The Confusion – all to explore, in the Privacy of one’s own Soul.

Life is an assignment. We are The One most interested in knowing what that assignment is. The Journey, full of discoveries, is not necessarily a smooth road, but one that compels us. Our curiosity is piqued to such a degree that we can’t be put off. A larger, more objective perspective can be developed with exposure to Life.

There can be consequences as well, that will try to make you insane. The rise above a painful reality, is an ascension into wisdom; fostering understanding and appreciation of all that is. The Journey is recorded in the pages of your Journal, extending the road under your feet, with the wind at your back. It is in reading through those pages of time, that the discovery is made, emerging from between the very lines you wrote over the years of your life. The light given you, can have a transforming empowerment. Different from all the discussions, debates, relationships, team work, and community of your youth. In the later times of living, are the times of sharing the conclusions that you have, the insights, and . . . . .the answers in life.
